We're Still Here

This summer has been so busy for everyone in the Mauzy family. Mom and Dad are both working hard at their jobs and in their free time they help watch Carson! Here are some photos of the past few months.

Newest Addition

On May 29th we got a new addition to our family. After 22 hours of labor we welcomed Carson Jonathan Crop. He was 7 pounds and 19 inches long. He is the sweetest baby and he is getting LOTS of love from Grandma and Grandpa!! We love you baby Carson!

Mauzy Holidays

We all had a Wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year's. I know this is over a month late but, better late than never :)

Baby Crop

Here are some pictures of Baby Crop at our 20 week ultrasound. we are getting another ultrasound at 24 weeks to see if the baby has a cleft lip/palate. Lots of prayers that everything with the baby is A-OK! :) It is amazing how much we already love this little guy!!

Update

I had stopped posting for the "Mauzy Blog' until my Mom mentioned that family members would probably still like to read up on our family. So I will send out an email to family members with a link to this blog if you would like to keep up on our family.

So, since the last post too much has happened to update everyone so I will do a quick overview. :)

Trevor: has been home from his mission in the Philippines for a while now. He is currently working at the MTC (missionary training center) teaching Tagalog. (The language he learned while on his mission). He loves preparing missionaries for the Lord's work!! He is also a full time student at Brigham Young University and majoring in Exercise Science. He moved out and is loving his roommates and his ward. We are assuming he is having a great time since we never see him around the house :)

Mom: is still working as hard as ever at Robert's Craft. She is finally getting some recognition by the 'higher ups' but, is still having to deal with some poor treatment. She is scrapbooking pictures of all of us kids (with or with out our permission) all over the stores. She is now the lead 'scrapbooker' for all of the Robert's Crafts in the area. That even extends into Idaho. :)

Dad: is still working at Novell and we are all so grateful he is still there. Novell was recently bought out by another company so we'll see what happens there. Dad is hopeful (or at least he acts that way around us :) He is the ward clerk and that calling seems to keep him pretty busy!

Adam & Maranda: we are expecting our first little baby on June 2nd! I am 21 weeks and we found out last week that little baby is a BOY!! Now that we know for sure what we are having Mom has the green light to buy anything blue :) We are also looking for our first house! Adam is working at Twin Labs as the Microbiologist. Twin Labs produces vitamins, protein powders, herbal teas, etc. I am working at an Oral Surgeons office as a surgical assistant/office coordinator.

My computer is MIA but, once I get it back I will post some pictures of the recent happenings in our life!

Temple Square Lights

Gardner Village

Mom and I went up to Salt Lake just us girls! We hit up Gardner Village which is a small village of boutique's, shops, crafts and food. It was such a blast! Spending time with Mom is my favorite thing to do! We have WAY too much fun. Here are some pictures!

So Rascal LOVES mom! It is so funny and oh boy does Snickers get jealous! On Halloween Rascal fell asleep on my moms head!

ZoNe LeAdEr

Elder Mauzy has been transferred to Tayuman and he is now a Zone Leader! Tayuman was his 2nd area and he is glad to be back. He is actually in the exact same apartment. I think he is most excited about having hot water for showers again:) He is doing great and loves his new companion. Only a little over 6 months until he comes hOmE!!

Typhoon Parma Philippines

Elder Mauzy is doing well and is enjoying the opportunity to serve the Filipino people at this time of crisis. The Philippines was hit with typhoon Ketsana. Almost 80% of Manilla (the capital) was submerged. The Philippines has just recently been struck by typhoon Parma. Many Filipinos have evacuated and have sought safety in shelters. We won't hear from Elder Mauzy until tomorrow but, if you read this please keep all the missionaries around the world in your prayers.
